Following the establishment of our inaugural store on Fraser Street in July 1981 by Daphne's parents, Daphne has tirelessly strived to evolve Once A Tree Furniture into a premier destination.

Les joined our team in January 2010. With 25 years experience in the Industry, he excels in product expertise and thrives on daily challenges. Mondays are his preferred day for Innovation and Creativity! His confidence and artistic flair bring concepts to life.
Noreen Wiwcharyk

Noreen is our longest employed Design Consultant. With over 20 years experience, she specializes in almost everything. A background in Fashion makes her a trend setter in color, design and styling. She pulls a room together with knowledge, passion, creativity, and a strong connection with her customer.
Patty Isada
design consultant
Patty joined our team in 2016 and has worked in the industry since 2007. Her diverse background includes graphic design, interior design & colour theory. She believes in timeless style that still feels fresh and reflects modern aesthetics.
Andrew Smayda
design consultant
Andrew joined our team in the Spring of 2021 with over 27 years experience in the Industry. He specializes in ‘Soft Furnishing’ and has extensive knowledge in framing, fill options and fabrics. Whether you are looking for a sofa and chair or a whole house of furniture, Andrew is your guy.

Tracey is an accomplished interior designer. She knows what it is like to be on the client side of a demanding industry. She joined Once a Tree in 2017. In addition to being part of the Once a Tree buying team she dedicates her time to product display and assisting clients with challenging design decisions.
