Art that speaks for itself: meet 3 of our newest showroom artists
If you’ve popped by our new showroom in Mount Pleasant lately, you’ve likely been captivated by the gorgeous artwork on the walls.
Let us introduce you to three new artists we carry. We’re both inspired by, and incredibly proud to display art by, the following: Anthony Valin, Yasmeen Strang, and Suzanne Summersgill.
Anthony Valin
Known for his beautiful plaster work and mold-making techniques, Anthony’s art is both timeless and modern. Based out of Toronto, Anthony has over 18 years of experience in the industry and is known for making bespoke pieces for interior design projects.

Yasmeen Strang
Shown above are two beautiful photos from Yasmeen’s Apoptosis series which was inspired by a quote Yasmeen stumbled upon by Nobel Prize winning author and activist, Olga Tokarczuk. Yasmeen lives and works in beautiful BC, and worked for years on assignment in the USA, Canada, and Africa before turning her lens to fine art photography.

Suzanne Summersgill
With her knowledge of colour, pattern and texture, Suzanne specializes in creating illustration paintings that focus on earth themes and the environment. The painting above evokes a visceral exploration of the sense of place, and was inspired by the abandoned houses near Ashcroft, BC.
